At Salesdock we take the security of your data very seriously. Trust is good, but control is better. We would therefore like to show you how we pursue security at the highest level.
Of course, we don't do this alone. For example, we use external (security) experts from day one, whether it concerns the web application firewall (WAF) from Cloudflare, the PEN tests from our security partner SecWatch or the tight tuning of our platform by our hosting partner. Shock Media.
With two-factor authentication you ensure that no one has unauthorized access to your login.
All data is secured using SHA-256 encryption. We do this both in transit and in rest.
With Single Sign On (SSO) you can easily and securely log in to Salesdock from your own Identity Provider (IDP). We support SAML as OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Salesdock uses Cloudflare, a state-of-the-art invisible fence around Salesdock that protects the platform against hacking and DDOS attacks. In this way, Salesdock is protected against the threats from the OWASP Top 10. Cloudflare is our first defense against unauthorized access.

At Salesdock we use the defense in depth principle. This means that our security measures consist of several layers. One of those layers, for example, is our web application firewall. But the platform itself is also equipped with all kinds of security measures. Right down to the storage of the data. For example, if a hacker gains access to the data center, the hacker cannot do anything with the data on the server. For example, we score an A+ rating with Qualys SSL Labs, and an A- rating with SecurityHeaders.
Salesdock has an ingenious and safe way to check whether your password is already known to hackers. We do this by checking your password with a special technique - k-Anonymity - against data from Have I Been Pwned (HIBP). HIBP collects data released during data breaches, such as the data breaches at Facebook, LinkedIn and many more. If your password is known in the event of a data breach, you cannot use it within Salesdock.
Passwords at Salesdock must be at least 12 characters and must not appear in a previous data breach. This ensures that your chosen password is strong and therefore safe.
Passwords are entered using hashing stored in combination with a unique salt. Hashing creates a unique string of your password, the hash. The original password cannot be retrieved here. Salesdock does not store your password itself.
Allowing passwords to expire ensures that your users regularly set a new password. When changing a password, we also end all sessions linked to the login.
Salesdock runs in a private cloud on its own hardware. All from Hengelo, Overijssel. The servers are located in two secure Previder data centers. These data centers are designed for hosting business-critical applications. Various certifications offer guarantees for the availability, security and integrity of your data. The data centers are well secured by, among other things, fencing, video surveillance system, fire protection, extinguishing gas installation and security staff who are present 24/7.

With our extensive access control list (ACL) and roles system you remain in control of your data. Who is allowed to view the data, and who is allowed to perform an action on the data. Also determine how long data is visible to the user and when data should be anonymized or deleted. Give users temporary access to Salesdock. And if you have a user who is no longer active, it will be automatically deactivated.
With smart notifications, the Salesdock platform helps keep your data safe. This way you prevent something from going wrong. A login from an unknown device? A user requesting more data than usual? Salesdock will immediately inform you of this with a notification. With the Salesdock audit log you can see what is happening on your account. A complete paper trail of who attended which dates.
